LONG-RANGE, PRS AND HUNTER MATCHES

We run PRS 2 day Pro Bolt Series National Level matches, PRS Southwest Regional monthly matches, and monthly Hunter Style matches, hosted by Avenal Gun Club.

 

Our Monthly Matches are VERY unique; not only because it is a hiking course with a round trip between 2-4 miles depending on your draw, or the fact that you get to shoot across several canyons, a diverse AOF, but because it also is combined with TWO matches happening at the same time. The Hunter division is where the shooters shoot prone or their choice of support like a backpack or tripod and a PRS Southwest Regional Series where positional shooters test their skills

Avenal Gun Club was established in 1955 and is located in California’s central valley. We are a private club that is open to members only.  We offer just about everything you could ever want in a shooting range: .22, pistol, trap, archery, high power, and long-range shooting to 900yds. We pride ourselves on the wide variety of range types and distances we offer.
