The California Sharpshooter Showdown is one of the largest practical rifle matches on the west coast. This match will consist of approximately 18 stations with approximately 200 shots on the weekend (not counting Friday site in). The range is along a mile-long trail (broken in half each day) with elevation changes of approximately 650 feet. We have multiple permanent and portable obstacles throughout our COF.

About the Precision Rifle Pro Bolt Gun Series:
The Pro Bolt Gun Series is the renowned national level championship shooting series comprised of more than 40 of the most highly sought-after two-day precision rifle competitions in the nation. PRS Pro Series competitors are a diverse and talented group of precision rifle shooters who compete in PRS national level matches from coast to coast, in a points race culminating in a year end PRS Pro Series Finale. Membership draws those from across the country who wish to compete against the nation’s best professionals, military operators and the many new shooters who are just joining our discipline.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Shooters purchase a PRS Pro Series membership.

Shooters may then compete in any 2-day PRS Pro Bolt Gun Series match for PRS points.

Shooter profiles, scoring and standings will be automatically updated on this site.
HOW TO QUALIFY FOR THE PRS PRO BOLT GUN SERIES FINALE
During the season, shooters that want to qualify for the finale must include 1 of their top 3 scores from a PRS finale qualifier match.

Select matches will be identified by the PRS each season to be sanctioned as a PRS PRO Finale Qualifier match. They will be spread across the country and be partially and pragmatically rotated every year.

Shooters may shoot as many of these matches as they like to improve their score.

There will be no changes to how many or where the other 2 scores come from.

The Qualifier rule will apply to all divisions and categories.
This requires the top shooters in the country to retain at least one match score from a more equal field promoting competitive excellence that the PRS outlines in its mission statement and goals. Shooters who choose not to participate in PRS Qualifier can still compete for year-end standings but will not be invited to the Finale. Finale will be weighted 60/40.
